Bharatiya Janata Party

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is a major political party in India, established in 1980. It is the country's largest party by membership and has been in power since 2014, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With its headquarters in New Delhi, the BJP operates across all 29 states and seven union territories of India. Atal Bihari Vajpayee served as its first president. The party has youth and women's wings known as the BJP Yuva Morcha and BJP Mahila Morcha, respectively.
