MADHYA PRADESH

Madhya Pradesh is a large state located in central India, often referred to as the "Heart of India" due to its geographical location. In June 2024, BOOM investigated a viral video falsely claimed to show a police officer thrashing an elderly man in Uttar Pradesh.

BOOM found that the video was actually from July 2022, showing a police constable brutally assaulting an elderly man at the Jabalpur railway station in Madhya Pradesh, debunking the claim that it was from Uttar Pradesh.
