BOOM Research specializes in analyzing mis/disinformation by exploiting its extensive database of fact-checks to map trends in false narratives and identify digital influence operations. By codifying our fact-checks, we conduct in-depth quantitative studies to highlight key aspects of false narratives, such as the entities being targeted most, and the most popular topics of information distortion. Our studies have enabled us to strengthen our fact-checking operations by producing actionable insights around mis/disinformation. Apart from our monthly and annual reports, we have produced studies on mis/disinformation on topics like India's farmers' protests and the Israel-Palestine conflict, among others.
