Wuhan

In April 2020, BOOM investigated a viral claim alleging that a Harvard professor was arrested for manufacturing the novel coronavirus, supposedly linked to Wuhan.

BOOM found that this claim was false. While a biochemist and nano-scientist at Harvard was indeed arrested, it was unrelated to the coronavirus. The viral post misrepresented the true account of the arrest, spreading misinformation about the origins of the virus.
