Swarajya is an Indian right-leaning online news and opinion platform that covers a wide range of topics including politics, economics, culture, history, and policy. Founded in 1956 by journalist Khasa Subba Rao and relaunched in 2014 as a digital platform, Swarajya aligns itself with conservative, pro-market, and nationalist perspectives. It advocates for free-market policies, minimal government interference in business, and strong nationalist stances on issues like defense and foreign policy.

Swarajya frequently publishes editorials and articles on topics related to India's political landscape, economic reforms, and cultural issues, often reflecting a pro-Hindu and pro-BJP perspective. The platform is known for providing commentary that supports economic liberalization, the Indian government’s initiatives, and historical revisionism from a nationalist standpoint.

In August 2020, BOOM investigated a claim published by Hindustan Times (HT) and Swarajya, which stated that 60,000 people were involved in a mob in Bengaluru.

BOOM found that this figure was unverified and had originated from a single witness account, which was posted by news agency ANI, debunking the inflated claim.
