India Reports 232 New Cases, 3 New Deaths
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reported 232 new cases and 3 new deaths in 13 hours as of 9AM on April 3, 2020. The country now has 2301 confirmed cases and 56 deaths.
All the three deaths have been reported from Maharashtra taking the state's death toll to 16.
Tamil Nadu with 309 cases crosses Kerala to become the state with the second highest positive cases in the country. All the five Southern states have more than 100 cases along with Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh with 99 cases is one away from joining the other states.
World Bank To Give India $1 Billion Health Financing
The World Bank will give India $1 billion in health financing, as part of a $1.4 billion health financing package to South Asian countries. This line of finance will be the largest-ever health support for the country, and it will cover all states and union territories.

India Reports 104 New Cases, 3 New Deaths
Since its last update, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reported 104 new cases, 3 new deaths taking the country's count to 2069 cases and 53 deaths. Two deaths were reported from Delhi while Gujarat reported one new death.

Maha Health Minister Gives 3 Updates
The Health Minister of Maharashtra, Rajesh Tope, gave three updates on the coronavirus situation in the state. First, the state would take responsibility of migrant workers in the state during the lockdown.Second, 1400 people from Maharashtra were at the Nizamuddin Markaz, of which 1300 have been traced and adviced to go in quarantine. Third, Maharashtra will use blood samples for faster tests instead of swap samples.
