First case confirmed in Arunachal Pradesh
Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu confirmed the first case of COVID-19 as a non-Arunachalee who participated in the Nizamuddin Markaz congregation.
A 31 year-old person Non Arunachalee who participated in #TablighiJamaat congregation at #NizamuddinMarkaz has been found positive for #Coronavirua and is first #Covid19 patient.

At present he is asymptomatic & kept in isolation. His condition is stable.
BMC worker latest COVID-19 case in Mumbai
A 52-year old man in Mumbai's Dharavi screened as COVID-19 positive. He has been identified as a BMC sanitisation worker. His family members and 23 colleagues have been advised to go into quarantine.

India Reports A Total Of 50 Deaths
India has reported an increase of 9 deaths, according to data by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This brings the India's total death toll to 50.
1965 cases in India
India has reported a rise of 131 cases in India, according to latest data by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; up to 1965 cases across the country.
India Reports 197 New Cases, 3 Deaths
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported 197 new cases and three new deaths taking the country's counts to 1834 and 42 respectively. Over 143 people have also recovered from the virus. The country reported two new deaths in Uttar Pradesh and one new death in West Bengal.
Tamil Nadu saw a steep spike in its number of cases whereas Assam and Jharkhand reported its first cases.
The ace tennis tournament Wimbledon has been cancelled owing to COVID-19 and this is the first time the tournament has been cancelled since the Second World War.
Hospital In Mumbai Shuts Down?
A nurse at Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai tested positive for COVID-19 after she was tending to the patient who was critical and recovered from the hospital.
Following the news of the nurse testing positive, there were news floating around about the hospital shutting down its operations.
BOOM contacted the hospital that stated that they were treating COVID-19 patients and had shut down their OPD services and were not taking any new admissions in the time being. They were catering to older patients that were already admitted and were providing emergency services.
