Republic Day in India is celebrated annually on 26th January to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India in 1950. In January 2021, BOOM fact-checked a viral video shared with a misleading claim that it showed farmers practicing tractor stunts for the Republic Day parade amid the farmers' protests.

BOOM found that the video was nearly 11 months old, depicting a stunt by Subhash Lathwal in Haryana, unrelated to the Republic Day preparations.
