In August 2024, BOOM investigated a viral video shared by ANI that misidentified a Muslim man searching for his missing son as a Bangladeshi Hindu.

BOOM found that the elderly man in the video is actually a Muslim named Babul Haoladar. The report was incorrect, and the man’s identity was misrepresented.
