A 2016 video of a Congress leader Naseem Khan from Mumbai referring to Sri Sri Ravishankar's statement on India-Pakistan unity has been edited to falsely claim that Khan shouted 'Pakistan Zindabad' at a cultural event.

      In the edited clip one can hear Khan, an MLA from Chandivali say, "'Pakistan Zindabad, If Modiji has courage, if Rajnath drank his mother's milk, then file a sedition case" (Original text in Hindi - पाकिस्तान ज़िंदाबाद | अगर हिम्मत है मोदी जी के अंदर, राजनाथ ने यदि अपनी माँ का दूध पिया है तो देश द्रोह का मुकदमा चला के दिखाए |)

In the original clip dated June 20, 2016, one can hear Khan narrate a few lines questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi about spiritual guru Ravishankar's statement, 'Pakistan Zindabad' should go hand in hand with 'Jai Hind' in a bid to promote unity between the two countries.

Ravishankar had in March 2016 at the World Culture Festival at the Yamuna floodplains in New Delhi had said that, "Jai Hind and Pakistan Zindabad" should go together for peace and development in the region," after Pakistan’s Mufti Muhammad Saeed Khan finished his speech.

He later tried to backtrack on his statement, after the hashtag #SendSriSriToPakistan started trending on Twitter.

      At the 2.41.24 seconds mark, Khan says, "I want to ask Modiji that today on the banks of Yamuna, Sri Ravi Shankar raised the slogan of 'Pakistan Zindabad', in presence of Rajnath Singh. Will he be prosecuted for sedition?"

BOOM found that the first part of Khan's sentence refering to Ravishankar's statement has been removed and edited to give the impression that Khan sloganeered 'Pakistan Zindabad'.

Full Transcript - "I want to ask Modi ji that today on the banks of Yamuna, Sri Ravi Shankar raised the slogan of 'Pakistan Zindabad', in presence of Rajnath Singh. Will he be prosecuted for sedition? If Modi ji has courage, if Rajnath has drank his mother's milk, then file a sedition case and show."
