India At #TokyoOlympics Live Blog: Neeraj Chopra Wins Historic Gold
After a dismal showing at the 2016 Rio Olympics, a strong Indian contingent is hoping to have their best ever outing at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Bajrang Punia won India's sixth medal in Tokyo after winning bronze in the men's 65kg freestyle wrestling event. India began their final day at the Tokyo Olympics with a chance of adding at least three medals to its tally. Aditi Ashok, the biggest surprise of the Games from an Indian perspective, missed out on a medal in the women's golf event by a single shot to finish fourth. Neeraj Chopra will be the last Indian athlete in action when he takes part in the men's javelin throw final.
