7 March 2020 1:05 PM ISTThe Catholic Archdiocese of Bombay issued new guidelines for religious services on March 5, 2020, in the wake of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The advisory encourages congregation members not to offer the 'sign of peace' by shaking hands during the mass, and instead to greet each other with folded hands (namaste).
