        Karanataka, MP, Gujarat, Rajasthan, TN Report Deaths

        A 75-year-old man has succumbed to coronavirus in Karnataka's Bagalkote, taking the death toll in the state to four.

        Meanwhile, Gujarat reported a new death in Ahmedabad taking the state's toll to 10. 

        Rajasthan reported a death in a Bikaner hospital of a woman with no travel history. 

        Madhya Pradesh reported two new deaths taking the state's toll to 10. 

        A Tablighi Jamaat attendee passed away in Tamil Nadu.

        Farmers To Be Exempt From Lockdown

        The Union Home Secretary has written to all the Chief Secretarys asking them to exempt farmers and farming activities from the lockdown. This is to ensure that sowing of seeds and harvesting of food grains and other grains is not delayed in the country.

        Air India Has Not Yet Started Bookings Post April 14

        Indian air lines Air India told news wire agency, ANI that they have not yet started bookings for domestic as well as international travel post April 14 till April 30 like other airlines and that they will wait till April 14 for taking further action.

        India Reports 355 New Cases, 6 New Deaths

        India has reported 355 new cases and 6 new deaths till 9 AM, on April 4, 2020 as reported by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. India has a total of 2902 cases and 68 deaths. 

        In the last 24 hours, the country reported 601 new cases and 12 deaths. 

        Maharashtra reported 88 new cases taking the state's total number of cases to 423, the highest in the country.

        India Reports 246 New Cases, 6 Deaths

        The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reported 246 new cases and six new deaths since its last update and the country's cases have reached 2547 and 62 deaths as of 6PM on April 3, 2020. 

        The country reported new deaths in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Telangana. Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Ladakh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal reported new cases.

        Tamil Nadu Reports 102 New Cases

        Tamil Nadu Health Ministry reported 102 new cases in Tamil Nadu taking the state's count to 411 as of April 3, 2020.

        Delhi Reports 384 Cases

        Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reported that Delhi has 384 confirmed cases of which 259 people attended the Markaz organised by the Tablighi Jamaat. Fifty eight people have international travel history. He further stated that not all of them are from Delhi. 

        The 58 further affected 38 of their family members. Delhi has reported 5 deaths, one of whom was at the Markaz congregation.

        ICMR To Release New Guidelines On April 4

        The Indian Council of Medical Research stated that there are 182 labs- 130 govt and 52 private are currently conducting tests. 

        On April 2, 2020, around 8000 samples were tested while the ICMR has in total has tested 66,000 tests cumulatively. 

        The ICMR is going to release a fresh set of guidelines for the rapid diagnosis through antibody testing on Saturday. These will be blood tests.
