7 April 2020 6:03 PM ISTThe Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has released a document outlining the care three pronged approach that the government is following for efficient management of COVID-19.
Following the two methods of cluster containment and outbreak management, the government has finalized three types of institutions to tackle COVID-19.
The three institutions:
1. COVID Care Centres for mild and suspected cases. They could be hostels, schools, hotels, stadiums.
2. Dedicated COVID health clinics for clinically moderate cases. They should have beds that could be connected to oxygen supplies.
3, Dedicated COVID hospitals for critical cases with equipped ICUs and ventilators
