MHA Exempts Education Board From Lockdown Measures For 10th, 12th Exams
Home Minister Amit Shah today announced that the Ministry of Home Affairs has exempted educational boards from lockdown restrictions to conduct board exams for 10th and 12 grade students.
Taking into consideration the academic interest of large number of students, it has been decided to grant exemption from the lockdown measures to conduct Board examination for classes 10th & 12th, with few conditions like social distancing, face mask etc, for their safety. pic.twitter.com/P4ULsmbPVv

Testing Machines Used For TB To Be Used for COVID-19
The ICMR has said that diagnostic machines used for testing drug-resistant tuberculosis can be used for confirming COVID-19 cases, reports PTI.

India Reports Highest One-day Spike In Positive Cases
India reported its highest one-day spike in positive cases adding 5,611 cases to take the total case count to 1,06,750 according to the latest figures released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 140 patients died due to COVID-19 taking the death toll to 3,303. 42,297 patients have been discharged after recovering from the disease.
Railways To Start 200 Non-AC Special Passenger Trains Daily From June 1
The Indian Railways will start operating 200 non-AC special passenger trains daily from June 1, Union minister Piyush Goyal said.
The tickets for the special passengers trains can only be booked online on the IRCTC website or on its app. Ticket booking counters at the railway stations shall remain closed and no counter tickets (including platform tickets) shall be issued.
The online ticket booking process will commence soon and the schedule will also be put out shortly, the railway ministry has said.
