Private Hospitals In Mumbai Set Up Isolation Beds
The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai released a list of private hospitals that have set up isolation beds along with Kasturba and Seven Hills Hospital, and Mirage Hotel in Mumbai.
The list of hospitals is as follows:
Jaslok Hospital: 5 Beds
HN Reliance Hospital: 2 Beds
Hinduja Hospital: 20 Beds
Kokilaben Hospital: 17 Beds
Raheja Hospital: 12 Beds
Jagjivan Ram Western Railway Hospital: 10 Beds
Gurunanak Hospital: 2 Beds
St. Elizabeth hospital: 2 Beds
Bombay Hospital: 4 Beds
Lilavati Hospital: 15 Beds
Gurugram, Mumbai, Chennai Report New Cases
Gurugram and Chennai reported second cases of COVID-19. The person from Gurugram travelled from London while the person in Chennai is originally a Delhi national.
In Mumbai, a woman related to the man who tested positive on March 17, 2020 tested positive for the virus. She has no history of international travel.
Roche Diagnostics India Allowed To Supply Diagnostic Tests
Roche Diagnostics India — Indian subsidiary of Swiss multinational firm Roche received testing license for COVID-19 diagnostic testing from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO).
Two Indian diagnostic firms,Trivitron Healthcare and Mylab Discovery Solutions, have also designed their own kits that are awaiting approval.
The kits developed by the three firms will be sold to private diagnostic chains such as Dr Lal Path Labs, SRL Diagnostics and Metropolis Healthcare which will increase the number of tests India will conduct in a day and reduce testing time.
Currently, India is importing testing kits from Germany and Switzerland.
India's Cases Rise To 151
India reported four new cases taking the number of confirmed cases to 151. The new cases have been reported in Delhi, Haryana. Puducherry and Telangana.
Nagpur Shuts Bars, Liquor Shops Till March 31
All restaurants, bars, liquor shops and even paan `thelas' (kiosks) in Nagpur district would remain closed till March 31 in view of the coronavirus outbreak, a senior official said on Wednesday.

Centre Asks States To Take Action Against Racial Discrimination Against Citizens From NE
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said a strict advisory is being issued to all states to take action after some incidents of racial remarks against people belonging to the North East in some parts of the country were reported in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
Rijiju, who hails from Arunachal Pradesh, also said the issue was taken up with the North East division in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
