A 24-year-old woman has tested positive for Coronavirus in Raipur with travel history to London. She arrived in India on March 15. Her family members have been directed to home quarantine themselves; none have shown any symptom till now, reported Chhattisgarh Health Min TS Singh Deo.
PIL Asking For Avoiding Mass Gathering Like Shaheen Bagh
A PIL (Public interest litigation) has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a direction for immediate removal/dispersal of mass gatherings from Delhi's Shaheen Bagh in view of Coronavirus.
ICMR Says Further Surveillance For Community Transmission Comes Negative

Mumbai To Quarantine People Returning From Middle East
The Mumbai civic body is preparing to quarantine around 26,000 Indians expected to land in the city between Thursday and March 31 from Covid-19-hit Gulf nations such as the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman.
Wuhan Reported No New Cases For The First Time
The Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicentre of the outbreak of the new strain of Coronavirus reported no new cases for the first time since the outbreak started.
China, now is grappling with measures to control imported cases as domestic cases are reducing and imported ones are now increasing. Beijing reported 21 new imported cases of the virus on March 18, 2020.
ICSE Postpones Exams
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) has announced that they are postponing all 10th (ICSE) and 12th (ISC) exams which were supposed to be held between March 19 and March 31, 2020 due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the country.
This move comes after the HRD ministry postponed the CBSE and JEE examinations.
Maharashtra, Karnataka, AP, Telangana Report New Cases
Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra have reported new cases of COVID-19. All of them have travel histories.
Seven more COVID-19 cases confirmed in Telangana and all of them are Indonesian nationals.
Two women tested positive for coronavirus in Mumbai metropolitan region on Thursday, taking the number of such cases in Maharashtra to 47, officials said. While one woman had returned from the UK, another one had come back from Dubai, officials reported.
Andhra Pradesh reported its second positive case. A person who returned to the state from England on March 15 tested positive for the deadly virus, the state Health Department has said.
One person with travel history to Saudi Arabia has been tested positive for COVID19 in Kodagu today. . He is being treated in an isolated hospital. Total number of positive cases reaches 15 in the state, B Sriramulu, Karnataka Health Minister stated to ANI.
