India's Cases Cross 600
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported 606 cases and 10 deaths in India as of 6 Pm on March 25, 2020. Between March 24 and March 25, India has reported 87 new cases.
Maharashtra with 128 cases has the highest number of cases along with three deaths, followed by Kerala at 109 cases.
Karnataka has 41 cases, Gujarat has 38, Uttar Pradesh has 37, Rajasthan has 36, Telangana has 35 cases.
COVID19.in And Other Websites Crowd Sourced
Joint Secretary of Health, Luv Agarwal stated that the websited such as covid19.in and covid.out are all crowd sourced and only the Ministry website is an authentic website for data.

Journalist, Daughter Test Positive In Bhopal
A journalist in Bhopal tested positive for COVID-19. He was present at the recent floor test for Kamal Nath. He tested positive after his daughter who returned from London on March 17 tested positive for the same.
Prakash Javadekar Addresses Media
Union Minister of Enivronment, Forests and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar while addressing the media on March 25, 2020 stated that through the public distribution system, 80 crore Indians will get rice and wheat at cheaper costs for the next 3 months. Wheat will be priced at Rs 2 and rice at Rs. 3 from the current Rs. 27 and Rs. 37 respectively. Districts will be provided enough stock for the same.
He further stated that contractual labourers will receive minimum wages during the lockdown period.
When asked about the wages for the large informal sector, he stated that the Centre has asked the States to take this decision.
He also stated that for the deferment of EMI, other packages by the Centre are in the pipeline.
He also discussed the issue of online deliveries wherein they should not be stopped and that rumours of newspapers spreading coronavirus need to be put to rest.

Mizoram Reports First Case
A 50-year-old pastor, who recently returned from Amsterdam, tested positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram, said Mizoram Health Minister R Lalthangliana said on Wednesday.
This is the second positive case in the North-East after a female tested positive in Manipur.

Pune based Mylab Discovery Solutions Pvt Ltd has developed India's first indigenous #COVID19 testing kit that has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). A single kit costs Rs 80,000 & can test 100 patients.
Video Streaming Apps To Stop HD Services
All video streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and others, have jointly decided to offer only standard definition (SD) quality content on cellular networks, suspending high definition (HD) and ultra HD effective immediately.
The digital services also decided to lower the bitrates to 480p, which will put less stress on telecom networks as India goes under 21-day lockdown and people are confined to their homes. This has caused an unprecedented surge in mobile internet consumption.
Maharashtra Reports 9 New Cases, Discharges 14
Maharshtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope tweeted that Maharashtra has confirmed 9 new cases taking the state's total to 116.
5 new cases who are contacts of the ones who tested positive in Sangli and 4 who have travel histories as well as are contacts of those who have already tested positive.
The minister has also stated that 14 people in the state have also been discharged in the state.
India Reports 562 Cases
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed 562 cases with 9 deaths till 9:00 AM on March 25, 2020.
A death reported in Delhi was reclassified as the person turned out to be COVID-19 negative.
Manipur and Mizoram reported their first cases while Kerala and Maharashtra have crossed 100 cases each.
