He is the founder of the Isha Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 1992 that offers yoga programs, spiritual teachings, and various social initiatives. Sadhguru has gained international recognition for his teachings, which blend ancient Indian wisdom with contemporary insights, addressing topics like spirituality, mental well-being, inner engineering, and environmental sustainability.

Sadhguru has authored several books, including Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy and Karma: A Yogi’s Guide to Crafting Your Destiny, which focus on personal transformation and spiritual growth. In November 2023, BOOM fact-checked a series of fraudulent ads on Facebook using AI-generated voice clones of Sadhguru to promote scams.

BOOM found out that these fake ads misused Sadhguru's voice and image to mislead users, exposing a widespread scam on the social media platform.
