One instance involved a viral video falsely depicting PM Modi urging people to "Vote for Congress" during a public rally. BOOM found that the video was edited, with two separate clips merged together to create the video. The original clip actually showed Modi encouraging people to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Similarly, a misleading photo circulated on social media falsely claiming that PM Modi had ignored greetings from President Droupadi Murmu and other dignitaries during an event commemorating Dr. B R Ambedkar's death anniversary.
