Key Milestones in Recent Delhi Elections:
2013 Delhi Election: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), founded by Arvind Kejriwal, made its debut in the 2013 elections with a strong anti-corruption agenda. AAP won 28 seats, resulting in a short-lived government after Kejriwal resigned over the inability to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill.
2015 Delhi Election: AAP made a historic comeback, winning 67 out of 70 seats, with Arvind Kejriwal becoming the Chief Minister. The party focused on healthcare, education reforms, and subsidies in water and electricity, cementing its hold in the capital.
