Allu Arjun, Tollywood actor, born on April 8, 1982, in Chennai, is a prominent figure in Telugu cinema. He began his career as a child actor in 1985 and made his debut in 2003 with “Gangotri”. Allu Arjun hails from a prestigious Telugu film family and his father “Allu Aravind” is a film producer, while his paternal grandfather, Allu Ramaliangaiah, appeared in over a thousand films.

Arjun has received numerous awards, including a National Film Award, six Filmfare Awards and three Nandi Awards. He is also known for his work as a dancer and has been featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2014.

Recently, BOOM debunked a false claim on Arjun which claimed to show him campaigning for the Indian National Congress during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

The viral video of Arjun was also shared by film critic and former Bigg Boss contestant Kamaal R Khan. BOOM ran a reverse image search and related keyword search, and found that the video was from August 23, 2022, and did not show him supporting the Congress. The description of the original video reads, "Icon Star Allu Arjun as Grand Marshal at the 40th India Day Parade in New York".
