        Delhi CM Cancels IPL Matches In Delhi

        In a live press conference, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced that Delhi will not be hosting any IPL matches in the city. 

        Each team has 8 home matches and 8 away matches in the Indian Premier League.

        Evacuees From Wuhan Test Negative

        The 112 people who were evacuated from Wuhan in China and kept in quarantine at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) facility in Chhawla here have tested negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and they will start leaving the facility on Friday, officials said.

        Google Employee In Bangalore Tests Positive

        A Google employee in Bangalore tested positive for COVID-19.

        "We can confirm that an employee from our Bangalore office has been diagnosed with COVID-19."

        "They were in one of our Bangalore offices for a few hours before developing any symptoms," the Google spokesperson said in a statement.

        The employee has been on quarantine since then.

        India Records First Coronavirus Death Posthumously

        India has recorded its first death due to coronavirus after a 76-year-old man who passed away on Tuesday tested positive for the coronavirus posthumously. The Karnataka health department confirmed the same on Thursday evening.

        The 76-year-old man had returned from Saudi Arabia on February 29. He had arrived in Hyderabad and then travelled to Kalaburagi. On March 5, he was admitted to the out-patient department of a private hospital in Kalaburagi.

        Maharashtra Health Ministry Confirms Cases In Mumbai and Thane

        Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope confirmed one new case each in Mumbai and Thane taking Maharashtra's count to 14. 

        Mumbai now has three confirmed cases while Thane has one. 

        The new cases are admitted at Kasturba and Hinduja Hospital with travel histories from France and Dubai respectively.

        Pune District Collector Naval Kishore Ram said a person who had travel history to the United States has tested positive in Pune. 

        This is the city's 9th confirmed case and Maharashtra's 12th case.

        The Rashtrapati Bhavan has closed all public tour visits from March 13, 2020 as a precautionary measure against the spread of coronavirus, official spokesman says.
