Pune, Chennai Cases Too Early To Be Called Community Transmission:MOHFW

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated that rampant contact tracing is being carried out for the Pune and Chennai cases that have no international travel history. Their sources are being actively traced and mapped out. 

MOHFW On Treatment Of COVID-19

Joint Secretary Health, Lav Agarwal when asked if there is a prescribed treatment for treating COVID-19, stated that the combination of medicines are being administered on case basis and in consideration with ICMR.

Govt Caps Prices Of Sanitisers, Masks

After including sanitisers and masks in the Essential Commdities Act, the government has capped the maximum retail price of hand sanitizer at Rs 100 per 200ml bottle till June 30 this year.

Similarly, the price of a 2 ply (surgical) mask has been capped at Rs 8. That of 3 ply (surgical) mask at Rs 10 till June 30.
