A video showing a group of Muslims offering prayers inside a building is being shared with the false claim that it shows Muslim members of the Israeli Knesset offering Salah together inside the parliament's main chamber.

BOOM found the claim to be false. The video shows Jordanian MPs offering Islamic prayers inside the parliament chamber ahead of a session to elect the permanent bureau.

The viral 22-second video shows a group of people standing in rows, bowing and kneeling on the floor inside a parliament building.

What We Found: Video Is From Jordan’s Parliament, Not Israel

1. Video Is From Jordan's Parliament: We first broke the video into keyframes and conducted a reverse image search. This led us to a 2026 report by news agency Anadolu Agency featuring images of the Jordanian Parliament. The interior matched the scenes shown in the viral video, confirming that the footage is from Jordan's Parliament.

2. News Reports About The Prayer: We then conducted a related keyword search in Arabic and found a post by BBC News Arabic dated November 4, 2026, reporting on the incident. According to the report, Jordanian MPs offered Dhuhr prayers inside the parliament chamber ahead of a session to elect the permanent bureau.

We also found that Jordanian news outlet Roya News reported on the prayer on November 3, 2026, and shared a video of the incident through its official X handle.
