An old video from 2023 showing a crowd at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra's Pune district is being shared on social media with the false claim that it shows tourists flocking to the spot linked to the Ketan Agarwal murder case.
Prime accused Siya Goyal, along with her co-accused and paramour Chetan Chaudhary, have been arrested on charges of murdering her fiancé, real estate businessman Ketan Agarwal, by pushing him off a cliff at Lohagad Fort on June 18. The site where Agarwal was allegedly pushed became a local attraction after reports claimed tourists were inquiring about the spot.
The Claim:
The video is being shared on X with the caption claiming that it shows tourists at the fort rushing to the murder scene.

What We Found:
1) Video from 2023
We broke the video into key-frames and ran a reverse image search using Google Lens which results showed that it was posted dating back to July 2023.
The video was posted by an X handle with a caption in Marathi which, when translated, stated that tourists were stuck for four hours due to rush.
Additionally, the video pre-dates the Ketan Agarwal muder case murder case.
