The blaze triggered multiple explosions after chemical drums caught fire, sending thick black smoke into the air that was visible from several kilometres away. As a precaution, workers from nearby factories and residents of a nearby village were evacuated, and multiple fire brigades were deployed to bring the fire under control. No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
