      While the final results are yet to be declared officially, the Congress looks in a bad shape in all five states--Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Punjab, Manipur and Uttarakhand.  Accepting the results, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wished good luck to the winning parties and thanked his party workers. 


      Humbly accept the people’s verdict. Best wishes to those who have won the mandate.

      My gratitude to all Congress workers and volunteers for their hard work and dedication.

      We will learn from this and keep working for the interests of the people of India.
