By - BOOM FACT Check Team | 28 March 2020 1:45 PM GMT

'Reducing the growth of the virus will help reduce the intensity of the disease and the patient will recover,' says Dr. Sudhir Bhandari from the Sawai Man Singh hospital in Jaipur. Doctors at the SMS hospital have been able to cure COVID-19 patients with a combination of drugs. Though this combination of drugs has worked as a treatment, Dr. Sudhir Bhandari advises people to not be their own doctors. Here are a few things that he said -

* While using this combination of drugs, there is a proper protocol that is being followed.

* Drugs should be taken under the supervision of a doctor and not otherwise.

* Don't be your own doctor.

* The anti-viral drugs that are being used are very safe. So safe that they can also be used during pregnancy.
