US To Permit Extension Of Stay If H1B Expires
The Department of Homeland Security in the United States of America has issued a circular stating the extension of visas for nonimmigrants. They can mitigate the immigration consequences of COVID-19 by timely filing an application for extension of stay (EOS) or change in status (COS). U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will continue to accept and process applications and petitions, and many of the forms are available for online filing.
IPL Likely To Be Postponed
The BCCI reportedly stated that as the lockdown is extended there is a possibility of the Indian Premier League of being postponed.
Flights Stopped Till May 3
Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri confirmed that there will be no domestic or international flights in India till May 3 after which restrictions on flights can be eased in phases.
No Further Bookings Till Further Notice: Railways
The Railways announced that there will be no advance reservation of trains tickets, including e-tickets, till further orders and the online cancellation facility remains functional
