BOOM found that the video is unrelated and was uploaded in April by a US based account.

By - Nivedita Niranjankumar | 15 Jun 2020 10:57 AM GMT

A video on TikTok claiming to show actor Sushant Singh Rajput flailing around on the bed before his death, is fake. The viral video is being shared on TikTok with false claims that it shows the last video of Rajput struggling and in pain.

BOOM found that the video is unrelated and was made by a US based YouTuber and TikTok user as a funny sketch.

Rajput, a Bollywood actor was found dead in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020. The Mumbai police have prima facie ruled the death as a case of suicide.

The video is being shared on TikTok with the caption, 'Last video of Sushanth Sing' with users reacting to it and claiming that it shows Rajput struggling and reaction to "depression".

The post has received nearly 5 lakh likes and been shared 50,000 times.

The video is also being shared using the duet option on TikTok which allows people to post reactions to a viral video. Most of these videos on one panel show the viral video of a person jumping around on a bed and on the other panel show people reacting in shock.

We also found the same video on Twitter with the caption saying, "Last video of SSR. Full depression"
