An AI-generated video showing a burqa-clad woman firing at a man on a motorcycle who appears to be stalking her is being shared on social media with the false claim that it shows a real incident captured on CCTV.
BOOM found several visual inconsistencies in the video, and an AI detection tool indicating it is synthetic.
The Claim:
The 10-second video is being shared with the false claim that it shows a woman firing at a harasser, causing him to flee the scene. It is also being shared as an incident from Pakistan.

What We Found:
1) Visual Inconsistencies
At the three second mark, the gun suddenly appears in the woman's hand; she can't be seen pulling it out. After she fires a bullet, a cloud of smoke appears in front of the bike, which looks unnatural.
2) AI Video Posted By Pak Instagram Creator
We also found a clearer, horizontal version of the AI video, complete with a CCTV-style timestamp, posted by the Instagram handle @viral_mix_daily on June 28, 2026. The account based in Pakistan regularly posts AI-generated videos depicting women firing at harassers on bikes and cars.
3) AI Detection Tool Results
We ran the video through Hive Moderation's AI detection tool, which flagged it as AI-generated.
