BOOM reached out a TMC spokesperson for a comment, and the article will be updated if and when there is a response.

In order to look for a credible news report to back up the claim in the photo, BOOM did a quick Google search with the keywords “Mamata Banerjee” and “suicide”.

Several news reports appeared in the results, which were either discussing a quote by Banerjee saying “Adolf Hitler would have committed suicide if he witnessed Modi’s activities” and a report about a death-by-suicide of a retired IPS officer who had blamed Mamata Banerjee for his death.
