Deer Hunting Video From Bangladesh Revived With False Claim

BOOM had earlier debunked the same video and had found that it is from Bangladesh. Additionally, no such MLA named 'Anil Upadhyay' exist.

Claim

"Hunting and that too of a deer. What does BJP MLA Anil Upadhyay say about this? Let the video go viral. It's not enough to get angry. Make this video viral so that those responsible have to answer.' (Translated from Hindi-English text - शिकार और वो भी हिरण का What does *BJP MLA Anil Upadhyay* say about this act? Let the video go viral *सिर्फ गुस्सा जाहिर मत कीजिये, इस वीडियो को इतना फैला दो की जवाबदारों को जवाब देते नही बने)

Fact

BOOM had debunked the same video in October 2019 when it was claimed that the shooter belongs to the forest department of West Bengal. We found that the old footage is originally from Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi news outlet had reported the incident on July 12, 2015 where the shooter was identified as Moin Uddin. The man shot a deer on his private farm. BOOM also found that multiple unrelated videos are shared online blaming an imaginary MLA Anil Upadhyay. Read more about it here.
