Three unrelated videos are circulating on social media with claims falsely linking them to the minor gangrape case in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar.

BOOM found that the clips are from separate, older incidents in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Bihar, and have no connection to the case in Rajasthan.

The videos are being shared in the wake of an incident where a 13-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by multiple men over five days in Sri Ganganagar. Following a police rescue operation, 14 accused have been arrested, and authorities have demolished three hotels connected to the crime.

The Claim
News outlet Mojo Story shared the video of a girl in distress claiming that it was a testimony of the survivor in the Sri Ganganagar case.

The second clip purportedly shows the police parading and publicly assaulting the accused men from the case.

The third video shows Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, interacting with a minor, with captions falsely claiming her to be the Sri Ganganagar gangrape survivor.

What We Found

1) First Video of Assault Case from Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh
We ran a reverse image search and found this post from July 2, 2026 with a caption stating that the video is from Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. Taking a cue from this, we ran a keyword search and found this Dainik Bhaskar report about an 11-year-old Dalit girl who was abducted and sexually assaulted on June 22, 2026 in Hardoi.

We also found a statement by the Rajasthan Police on X, confirming that this video is unrelated to the Sri Ganganagar case.

2) Second Video from Gujarat Extortion Case
We ran a reverse image search on the keyframes of the second video and found this news report from March 19, 2026, when Gujarat Police from Patan district were seen assaulting 18 accused members of an extortion gang in public.

3) Third Video from Darbanga Caste Violence Case
We ran a reverse image search and found the same video posted by Navbharat Times on February 17, 2026 with a caption stating that the video is from Darbhanga, Bihar. Upon running a keyword search, we found news reports of caste violence in Harinagar village of Darbhanga district over pending wages.

The 13-year-old girl was one of the several victims of the incident. She was admitted to DMCH after sustaining injuries when several men from the village allegedly vandalized her house and assaulted both her and her father. Chirag Paswan visited all the injured from the incident.
