On The Sportscast this week, cricket expert Ayaz Memon analyses Sri Lanka's stunning comeback to defeat India by 63 runs in the first test of the three-match series. What can India do to bounce back?

While India may have faltered in cricket, Indian players excelled in various other sports. Saina Nehwal won a historic silver medal at the World Championships, the first Indian player to ever do so.

At the Archery World Cup in Wroclaw, Abhishek Verma clinched the gold medal in the compound men's individual event. The Indian recurve mixed pair of Deepika Kumari and Mangal Singh Champia bagged a silver after losing to their Mexican opponents, Aida Roman and Juan Rene.

In the Premier League, Chelsea's blues continued as they were thrashed 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium by Manchester City. City now top the table after Gameweek 2, and Arsenal registered their first three points - a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

And finally, we take a look at all the tennis action in Canada. Andy Murray ended an eight-match losing streak to Novak Djokovic as he won 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in the final of the Rogers Cup in Montreal. In the women's event in Toronto, 18-year-old Swiss sensation Belinda Bencic outlasted Simona Halep 7-6 (7/5), 6-7 (4/7), 3-0 to lift the title. Watch the video to find out what was unique about her run to win the WTA event.
