The Sportscast #15: Remembering Jagmohan Dalmiya

BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya passed away on September 20, 2015 in Kolkata. He was often hailed as the architect of India's rise as cricket's financial superpower. On The Sportscast, Ayaz Memon discusses his contribution to the sport and the legacy that he has left behind.

We also discussed Japan's historic win over South Africa in the rugby World cup. Memon described this victory as the "shock of the century in the sporting world". Previously, Japan had won only one match at the World Cup while only three nations had ever defeated the Springboks at the world stage.

In the Davis Cup, Great Britan and Belgium set up a rematch of the 1904 finals after edging out Australia and Argentina 3-2 respectively. Andy Murray has featured in eight of the nine victories in Great Britain's Davis Cup campaign this year, and has almost single-handedly carried his team to the final. The final will be played in Belgium during 27-29 November, 2015.

Watch the video to find out who we picked as the "Indian Of The Week".
