On this week of The Sportscast, cricket expert and commentator Ayaz Memon dissects England's comprehensive win over Australia to clinch the Ashes series.

We also review all of the weekend's Premier League matches. Manchester United posted a win but are they a cohesive unit yet? Chelsea started the season with a draw that brought them the blues (and a suspension for their goalkeeper Courtois). Sunday saw Arsenal stumble at the very first step as they conceded a 2-0 loss to West Ham. Is 16-year-old Reese Oxford the next big thing?

And finally, we look ahead at the upcoming 3-match test series between India and Sri Lanka. It might be Kumar Sangakkara's farewell series but India will be hoping to end a 22-year wait for a Test series win in Sri Lanka. Will India miss Murali Vijay and can the spinners click for the Indian team? Watch the video to find out Memon's views.
