Photoshopped Pic Shows PM Modi, Amit Shah Looking Over A Massive Crowd

The photos are from December 27, 2017, when Shah and Modi had shared the dais at the swearing-in ceremony of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

A photograph purporting to show Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amit Shah sitting in front of a massive crowd, is photoshopped.

BOOM received the image on it's helpline number (7700906111) inquiring if the photo was genuine.

A Facebook page named 'Bharathiya Janatha Party-BJP Bellary' had shared this photo with the caption, "There is love, faith and faith are the best."

FACT-CHECK

BOOM did a reverse image search which did not yield any result.

After which we cropped the bottom half of the image and then did a reverse image search which led us to the image which was posted a year ago on Reddit.

The photo is manipulated as one can spot the above half is different from the original image.

Alt News had previously debunked this photo.

The chairs on which Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are seated are the same and the orange garlands are the same and even their clothes are matching.
