What We Found: Viral Photo Is Digitally Manipulated
1. Original Visuals Show No Such Scene: We checked the live stream by UK-based outlet Sky News of Donald Trump attending the state banquet with King Charles at Windsor Castle on September 18, 2025. There was no scene of the US President eating spaghetti during the King’s speech. What the footage actually shows is Trump listening to King Charles, which resembles the now-viral image.
The original footage of Trump seated inside the banquet at Windsor Castle and listening to King Charles appears at the 27:40 mark.
2. The Food Menu: On September 18, 2025, the BBC reported on the dishes served during the US president’s visit, as detailed by British authorities. According to the report, the 160 guests dined behind 1,452 pieces of cutlery and were served a French-written menu that translated to: Hampshire watercress panna cotta with Parmesan shortbread and quail egg salad; organic Norfolk chicken ballotine wrapped in courgettes with a thyme and savoury-infused jus; and a vanilla ice cream bombe with Kentish raspberry sorbet inside, paired with lightly poached Victoria plums.
The guests were also served a selection of wines. However, the report makes no mention of spaghetti being on the menu.
