A video purportedly showing a group of three men harassing an elderly Muslim man in a wheelchair is viral as footage of a real incident from Gujarat with a false communal claim.
BOOM found that the video is scripted and was originally posted by a YouTube channel that creates this kind of content for entertainment.
The Claim:
The 20-second video, in which a group of men can be seen taking away a Muslim man's wheelchair, is being falsely shared on social media, claiming that it shows the state of Muslim citizens in Gujarat.

What We Found:
1) Originally posted by an account that creates scripted content
A reverse image search on the keyframes traced the original video posted by the YouTube handle @muklesurbhaijaan2.0 on 15 December, 2025. The account bio states that it all the content is scripted and created for 'entertainment'.
2) Older scripted videos also viral with false claims
Videos posted by this account have previously gone viral with false communal claims. In one video where an elderly muslim man is being harassed by a man riding a motorcycle went viral as a communal incident from Jharkhand. In another clip that went viral, two young men can be seen spilling a Muslim man's food, accompanied by claims that Hindutva youth attacked him. These sensational clips, often featuring elderly Muslim men or women being harassed, are shared as real incidents and fuel false narratives on social media.
