The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has reported a pre-poll survey conducted by the CIA, KGB and Mossad predicting a landslide victory for the Indian National Congress. The Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is expected to get between 225 to 327 Lok Sabha seats. The BJP-led National Democractic Alliance (NDA) is expected to get 95-158 seats.
Fact
This is a fake pre-poll survey being cited in the viral WhatsApp message. BBC had previously told BOOM on another fake pre-poll survey attributed to the news organization that it does not conduct election surveys in India. The URL of BBC's official website has been added to lend credibility to the fake message.
The fake post claims that the survey was conducted by CIA, KGB and Mossad which predicts a landslide victory for the Congress.
