The video is originally of a mock drill that was conducted by the Banaskantha Police's Special Operations group in March this year. Gujarat Police quote tweeted the video in a tweet and clarified the same. BOOM had debunked the same video, that was viral earlier with a similar narrative. BOOM spoke to Ashish Rawal, media in-charge of Ambaji Temple Trust, at the time, who confirmed that a mock drill was carried out on March 29, ahead of the General Elections, 2019. "This is not the first time that such a demo has happened. However, since election is round the corner the police department chose to conduct a press conference and inform people that it was a mock drill and there is nothing to worry about."
