Kerala

Kerala is a state situated in the southwestern region of India, known for its lush backwaters, tropical rainforests, and rich cultural heritage. It shares borders with Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and the Arabian Sea. The state’s capital is Thiruvananthapuram, with other major cities like Kochi and Kozhikode playing important economic roles. Kerala is celebrated for its diverse geography, ranging from coastal plains to scenic hill stations.

Kerala is often cited as a model for social development in India, boasting the highest Human Development Index (HDI) among Indian states, along with a literacy rate of over 96%. The state has achieved significant success in healthcare, gender equality, and education. It is home to a multicultural society with Hindus, Muslims, and Christians coexisting peacefully. Kerala's vibrant culture is reflected in its traditional art forms like Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, and Kalaripayattu, as well as in its cuisine, which features unique dishes such as appam, sambar, and fish curry.

Politically, Kerala alternates power between the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF). The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M)-led LDF, under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, currently governs the state, having been re-elected in 2021. The state is known for its active participation in social movements, awareness campaigns, and progressive policy implementations.

The ad was shared with a communal spin, but BOOM found out that the ad featured NEET aspirants from multiple faiths, debunking the false narrative.
