Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Haider, a young student who returns home to Srinagar on receiving news of his father’s mysterious disappearance. In his quest to find his father, Haider is informed that it was Khurram who had betrayed his brother so he could marry Ghazala. What follows is his journey to avenge his father’s death. Shraddha Kapoor makes an appearance as Arshia, a journalist and Haider’s love interest.
