Mock Drill Video Falsely Shared As RSS Members Caught With Bombs

The viral video is actually of a mock drill conducted by police officials in Maharashtra’s Amravati.

"RSS terrorists new batch has been caught in Maharashtra University hostel where 25 students were caught making bombs in 55 rooms which are now sealed. Media is silent because there is not a single Muslim caught, all are RSS terrorists."

Fact

BOOM found a longer version of the same video uploaded by Vidarbha News 365 which made it clear that the incident was actually a mock drill carried out by police officials in Amravati, Maharashtra on July 27, 2019. Personnel from Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad (BDDS), Quick Response Team (QRT), Anti-Terrorism Squad ATS, dog squad and local police had participated in the mock drill. BOOM had previously debunked false claims going around with the same video that it was from Kashmir.
