NASA astronaut attached a GoPro camera to his helmet during a spacewalk in February. Viewers are treated to a close-up of the ISS’s underbelly and a stunning view of the Earth in the hour-long footage.
NASA has released two hours of GoPro footage which features two astronauts Terry Virts and Barry Wilmore on a maintenance mission at the International Space Station.
One of the astronauts has strapped a GoPro camera to his head which has captured stunning views of the Earth floating by as well as caught the underbelly of the space station.
The footage was recorded in February this year when the two astronauts were conducting an EVA (extravehicular activity) to reconfigure the International Space Station to receive commercial vehicles, rather than Space Shuttles.
