Hear Vishal Gondal, CEO of GOQii a fitness technology company, talk about the new challenges facing innovators--that of bringing about disruption at a much faster pace than before. BOOM caught up with the founder of Indiagames on the sidelines of the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum 2016.

Vishal Gondal decodes disruption as a force that allows leapfrogging technological advances in terms of generations and the disruption is not small, it is infact “anything between 10-100x”. He mentions categories such as wearable fitness devices, mobile devices which are likely to see these kind of leapfrogging of technology.

The founder of Indiagames who sold his company to DisneyUTV for a $100 million says a characteristic of disruption and a challenge for leaders today is keeping pace with the fast-changing technology. Gondal explains, “Disruption today is not the bigger fish eating the smaller fish, it is the faster fish beating the slower fish.”
