Naezy, in an interview with BOOM talks about living his dream as a hip hop artist, following the footsteps of his icon Tupac Shakur, his struggle to stardom and the responsibilities that comes with it.

Naved Shaikh the latest rap sensation from Mumbai has made music the language to conquer all hurdles. Monickered Naezy - he combines his name Naved and ‘crazy' , he grabbed headlines with his first single, Aafat. The video shot in the suburbs of Mumbai had almost 1 lakh views within days of it being put up.

 

With his clever rhyming of words, timing and a gritty suburban theme, Naezy's videos soon became YouTube hits. The 23-year old who has a handful of songs to his credit has already worked in collaboration with comedy content company AIB and Mumbai-based rapper MC Divine.

 

Naezy, in an interview with BOOM talks about living his dream as a hip hop artist, following the footsteps of his icon Tupac Shakur, his struggle to stardom and the responsibilities that comes with it. He speaks on what he feels about the current rap music scene in India, his future projects and why he is doing what he is doing.
