Positive Cases Rise To 1,047 In West Bengal

West Bengal has reported 112 new cases taking the state's tally to 1,047. Four patients succumbed to the illness taking the death toll in the state to 72. The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that West Bengal has seen low testing rates and has the highest mortality rate due to COVID-19 in the country at 13.2 per cent.
